Founded 2020, by Jordan Johnson and his brother-in-law Jamal Wilson.
J&J House of Skills was founded in 2020 by Jordan Johnson, a former college basketball player and skills trainer, together with his brother-in-law Jamal Wilson — a two-time Olympic high jumper who competed for The Bahamas. Jordan had spent years coaching young athletes and teaching at a charter school before deciding to build something of his own: training that comes to the athlete, not the other way around.
Jordan leads basketball skills training for athletes from age 5 through the professional level. Jamal brings his Olympic track background to speed, agility, and jumping mechanics for track athletes. Together we run private mobile sessions, Sunday small-group sessions, and summer clinics for players who want to actually get better, not just show up.
The first hundred customers became friends. The next thousand became collaborators. By year three the team had grown from one stubborn person to twelve, and the product had grown from a single feature into something I genuinely couldn't have predicted.
I feel like God placed me on this Earth, to do specifically this.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know us. If you're ready to train different, book a session and we'll see you on the court.
